What is the CBSE Board?

The full form of CBSE is ‘Central Board of Secondary Education. It is a  national level educational body that is under the Government of India. CBSE conducts board exams for 10th and 12th standard students on a national scale every year.

The CBSE board was reconstituted in the year 1962. The board grants affiliation to schools up to higher secondary level and develops a standard curriculum. The CBSE affiliation is accepted nationwide. English and Hindi are both considered to be the board’s official languages.
